The Taoiseach has been accused of failing to plan properly for Storm Éowyn by a woman who has been without power and water for days.
Rachel Connolly from Co Roscommon spoke directly to Mícheál Martin as he visited the community hub in Castlerea.
In a tense encounter, she told the Taoiseach she has lost the entire contents of her fridge and freezer three times in the last year due to power outages and that she was "very, very frustrated".
The Taoiseach told her he understood her points and that the National Emergency Co-ordination Group met with every agency and every local authority and that they all made plans ahead of the storm.
She said "with respect, Taoiseach, those plans didn't work".
The Taoiseach said "let me finish the point I am making; the ESB, everybody submitted their resilience plans before the storm".
He said the first priority was to save lives in the storm, which he described as the worst storm in over 50 years.
Ms Connolly responded "I am not a politician and I am going to make this point" about the lack of running water. She said a "breakdown in hygiene is not acceptable".
