The N14 in Co Donegal remains closed after a 20-year-old man was killed when a tree fell on his car during Storm Éowyn yesterday.

Kacper Dudek was pronounced dead at the scene at Feddyglass, Raphoe, following the incident, which occurred around 5.30am.

His body was removed to Letterkenny University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.

Local diversions are in place at Feddyglass, where Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are carrying out an examination of the scene.

A Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to support Mr Dudek's family.

Donegal Sinn Féin TD Pearse Doherty described the incident at Feddyglass as "heartbreaking".

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
