ESB Networks has announced plans to recruit up to 120 qualified electricians nationwide.
The company said that as the demand for electricity continues to grow, it must expand and adapt to meet evolving needs.
According to ESB, the new electricians will help it deliver for the future by enhancing the capacity and resilience of the electricity network.
The roles are open to qualified electricians, with the company promising "competitive rewards", training opportunities and other benefits.
"When you work with ESB Networks, you join a dedicated, inclusive and innovative team focused on delivering Ireland's transition to a net zero carbon future," ESB Networks Managing Director Nicholas Tarrant said.
"Today, we are making a call for talented and driven electricians to join us as we work together to make a difference for the customers and communities we serve," Mr Tarrant said.
The recruitment drive for qualified electricians builds on a wider campaign by ESB to enhance its existing talent pool through recruitment across a range of areas including finance, IT, HR, engineering and customer service.
