A teenager has died following an incident at a building site in Freshford in Co Kilkenny yesterday.
Emergency services were alerted to an incident at the site where construction work was taking place in Freshford yesterday afternoon. However, the youth died at the scene later.
The Health and Safety Authority is aware of the incident and has launched an investigation.
It is the second time this month that a teenager has died at a workplace.
On 13 June, a 17-year-old boy died at a recycling facility in Co Cavan.
