A 36-year-old man has been charged with the murder of an Irish woman in New York last Saturday.
Sarah McNally, 41, a native of Longford town, died after she was stabbed at the Céilí House bar in Queens, where she worked as a bartender.
Marcin Pieciak, with an address at 76th Street, Glendale, Queens, was charged with the murder of his girlfriend and with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

He faces up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
In a statement, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz described Ms McNally as the accused's girlfriend.
Ms Katz said the attack was "unprovoked" and one which has shocked the community.
"It was unprovoked and a devastating loss for the family.
"We are using every resource to make sure there is accountability."

The court heard Mr Pieciak also sustained self-inflicted stab wounds.
He is due to appear in court again tomorrow.
