Families, friends and supporters of the victims of the Stardust fire have gathered to mark the 43rd anniversary of the disaster.
A candlelit vigil was held at the site of the fire in Artane, north Dublin, this afternoon to remember the 48 people who died in the tragedy in February 1981.
The blaze occurred at the Stardust Ballroom in the early hours of 14 February 1981 during a St Valentine's Day ball.

A large crowd attended today's memorial and paid tribute to those who lost their lives with flowers and candles.
Dublin Fire Brigade's pipe band played music, while a banner showing the names and faces of the victims was held by family members.
An inquest into their deaths began last April and is expected to conclude soon.
