Gardaí are trying to establish the last movements of a 34-year-old man who has died in hospital following an alleged assault in Dublin over the weekend.
The deceased has been named as Kevin Walsh, from Allenton Green in Tallaght.
He was found injured after gardaí were called to an apartment in Shackleton in Lucan, at around 3am on Sunday morning.
Mr Walsh was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, but died there at around 6.30pm on Sunday.

He had sustained at least one stab wound, but detectives have yet to establish where and why he was attacked.
Mr Walsh was well-known to gardaí and had more than 50 previous convictions.
He also had convictions for assault and hijacking a taxi.
Gardaí have requested the services of the State Pathologist and a post-mortem examination is expected to take place.

Mr Walsh had been in Allenton in Tallaght on Saturday night and into the early hours of Sunday morning, before he took a taxi back to his Lucan apartment where he lived with his partner.
Gardaí are now trying to establish his last movements, who he was in contact with and where the suspected attack on him took place. They have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
They have asked road users who were travelling around Allenton in Tallaght and Shackleton in Lucan Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday morning to contact them.
They have also asked if they have camera or dash cam footage to make it available.
