A total of 147 recently-arrived asylum seekers are currently without State-provided accommodation, according to new figures published by the Department of Integration.
It is an increase from 76 on Wednesday evening, the last time figures were available.
Since the Government ceased offering accommodation on 4 December, citing a severe shortage, a total of 166 male asylum seekers were not offered State-provided accommodation when they presented to the International Protection Office.
Some 19 others who presented during that time were offered accommodation after what the department called "availability and vulnerability triage".
And 19 of the 166 initially not offered a place when they first presented, were also subsequently offered accommodation when places became available.
Last week, the Cabinet decided to increase the weekly payments for asylum seekers who are not offered accommodation by €75.
In total they will be provided with €113.50 per week for as long as they are left without accommodation.
Separately, the Government has agreed to reduce welfare rates and to limit State accommodation for new arrivals from Ukraine to 90 days.
The current rate of €220 per week will fall to €38.80 for the period that Ukrainian people are in State accommodation.
