The latest opinion poll, which has gauged voting preferences in aftermath of the Budget, has indicated Sinn Féin remains the party with most support.

The party has gained one point to 32% in the latest Red C poll for the Business Post.

The poll suggested support for Fine Gael slipped one point to 20% while Fianna Fáil also dropped one point to 15%.

Independents were unchanged at 12%.

The poll suggested support for the Socials Democrats and the Labour Party both rose one point to 6% and 5% respectively.

The Green Party was unchanged at 4% while People Before Profit Solidarity was also unchanged at 3%.

Aontú fell one point to 2%.

The online poll surveyed 1,018 between Friday 20 October and Wednesday 25 October.
