A man in his 50s who was being questioned by gardaí on suspicion of murdering 45-year old Tina Satchwell has been charged.
Gardaí say that he will be brought before a special sitting of the district court in Cashel, Co Tipperary, at 10.30am.
RTÉ News understands that the man has been charged with murder.
Earlier, gardaí said they were satisfied the remains they found at the house they have been searching at Grattan Street in Youghal, Co Cork, were those of Ms Satchwell.
This follows the results of what gardaí have described as a number of "primary and secondary" sources of identification.
Ms Satchwell was reported missing on 24 March 2017.
