An investigation is under way after the body of a man aged in his 40s was found in Limerick.
The discovery was made at around 5am this morning in a multi-storey car park in the city.
Gardaí are treating the discovery of the body as suspicious.
A team from the Garda Technical Bureau are carrying out a forensic examination of the scene tonight.
The body of the man, who was found on an upper floor in the car park, was removed from the scene just before 8pm tonight.

A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out tomorrow. Gardaí say the results will determine the course of the investigation.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to the incident to contact them.
In particular, they are appealing to people who were in the vicinity of Steamboat Quay and Dock Road between 4am and 6am this morning to come forward.
