The first 26 Ukrainian refugees have been moved out of tents in Stradbally, Co Laois, after spending a little over two weeks there.
Two more buses will move more than 60 people to alternative accommodation tomorrow.
Since 5 September up to around 30 people a day have arrived to the site, and new arrivals will continue to be brought to the facility for the next couple of weeks before being moved to alternative accommodation.
RTÉ News understands that the estate of Stradbally Hall, which hosted the Electric Picnic earlier this month, accommodated almost 500 Ukrainian refugees in tents before the first group of refugees left today.
The Department of Integration began housing newly arrived Ukranian families in tents on the site due to what it described as a "significant shortfall in accommodation for those fleeing Ukraine".
The department has said that its contract with the owner of Stradbally Hall estate, Thomas Cosby, runs for six weeks.
Local residents and politicians were told that families would spend around two weeks on the site before being moved on to alternative accommodation.
Tented accommodation is now the "primary source of accommodation" for newly arriving Ukrainian refugees, with a second tented facility also operating in Columb Barracks in Mullingar, Co Westmeath.
