A man in his 20s has died after falling from a truck while working in Carlow town this afternoon.
The incident happened at around 1.30pm in the College Green estate.
Gardaí attended the scene and access to a number of houses was disrupted.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have been requested and the Health and Safety Authority has been notified.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Road users with camera footage, who were travelling in College Green between 1.15pm and 1.45pm, are asked to make this available to gardaí.
