Watch: BP Fallon pays tribute to 'true star' Sinéad O'Connor

'A true star' - Musician and author BP Fallon has paid tribute to his friend Sinéad O'Connor following the news of her sudden death at the age of 56.

Speaking on RTÉ's Nine News he said she "risked her career for the truth" and people are "incredibly upset" at her passing.

Fallon revealed that Sinéad O'Connor had a new album "waiting to come out".

He said it was produced by David Holmes and that he had heard all of it: "It's fantastic, it's really fantastic, a brilliant record," he added.
