Fans of the multi-award-winning musical Hamilton queued for tickets outside the Bord Gáis Theatre in Dublin from early this morning to try and secure tickets for the production.
Hamilton will be coming to Ireland for the first time for a nine-week run from September to November 2024.
More than 80 people had gathered by the time tickets went on sale at the theatre's box office at 9am.
Andrew Dawson, who was top of the queue, arrived at 6.30am to make sure he was the first one there.
Asked why he decided to get there so early, he said: "It's Hamilton. I've seen it in London before, and I've been waiting eight years to see the show in Dublin."
Another man queuing, who took time off work this morning to join the queue for tickets, said "I just want to be in the room when it happens".

Two women from Rathoath, Co Meath said they were queuing to get 14 tickets "for a lot of excited children at home".
General Manager of the Bord Gáis Theatre Stephen Falloon said "we are absolutely amazed by our audience's reaction to Hamilton, we have worked for six years to get the show to Ireland, and we cannot wait for us all to be in the room where it happens next year!"
The theatre expects the production to be one of the biggest ever hosted at the Bord Gáis.
Hamilton tells the story of America's founding father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape modern America.
The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway numbers.
