The Deputy Chief Executive of Tusla, Kate Duggan, has been nominated as Interim CEO of the state Child and Family Agency.
In a statement, Tusla said the Board met this morning and agreed on her nomination.
Last month, outgoing CEO Bernard Gloster was appointed as CEO of the HSE.
Chair of the Board, Pat Rabbitte thanked Mr Gloster for his "immense contribution to the work of the Agency" and invited "all stakeholders and staff to give their full support to Kate as Interim CEO".
Ms Duggan joined Tusla in August 2020 as National Director of Service and Integration.
