A teenage girl has died and two other people were seriously injured in a road crash in Co Donegal last night.
The girl, who was in her late teens, was a front-seat passenger in one of two cars involved in the collision which occurred on the Ramelton Road in Letterkenny just before midnight.
The male drivers of both cars were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with serious injuries.
The road has been closed for a technical examination and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the Ramelton Road, Letterkenny, between 11.30pm and midnight to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 9167100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
