Consultancy firm EY says Paul Reid may advise clients

The consultancy firm EY has said that the former HSE chief executive Paul Reid may be involved in advisory work with some of its clients next year.

It said that details on which clients or what projects are not yet confirmed.

Mr Reid told RTÉ News that he has not joined EY and nothing has been decided.

In 2020, Mr Reid received the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Special Award on behalf of HSE staff, for their service to the country during the pandemic.

EY was also engaged by the HSE to assist with pandemic activities.

Mr Reid left his post at the HSE this month.
