A man in his 30s has been injured in a shooting in Tallaght, Co Dublin.

The incident took place in the Donomore Crescent area shortly after 6.20pm.

The man is being treated at Tallaght University Hospital.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Gardaí at the scene of the shooting

Gardaí said no arrests have been made.

They are appealing for witnesses to contact them in Tallaght Garda Station on 01-6666000.
