One person is in a serious condition in hospital following a fire in a house in Coolock in Dublin, in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Cromcastle Road around 2.10am.
A Garda spokesperson said four occupants of the house needed to be taken to hospital for treatment following the fire.
A man in his 30s was taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries.
Gardai confirmed that three others, a man and a woman in their 50s and a woman in her 30s were treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Five units of Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene, made up of three fire engines and two ambulances.
Fire crews wearing breathing equipment entered the house and extinguished the fire.
A Garda spokesperson said that inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Gardai had preserved the scene at the house for a technical examination, but the spokesperson confirmed that the examination has been completed.

Fire Engines from Kilbarrack, Finglas and North Strand attended the scene with two DFB ambulances.
