A man in his 60s has died following what gardaí said was a fatal workplace accident at a farm.
The incident took place on Tuesday in the Derren area of Gort in Co Galway.
The man's body was taken to University Hospital Galway, where a post-mortem examination is due to take place.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified and is carrying out an investigation.
