A 22-year-old man has been charged with the murders of Aidan Moffitt and Michael Snee in Sligo.
Yousef Palani, with an address at Markievicz Heights in Sligo, was brought before the local district court this afternoon.
Mr Palani is charged with the murder of 41-year-old Mr Moffitt at Cartron Heights in Sligo on 10 April.
He is also charged with the murder of 58-year-old Mr Snee at City View Apartments in Sligo on 12 April.

He faces a third charge of assault causing serious harm to Anthony Burke, arising out of an incident in Sligo on 9 April.
The accused was taken from Sligo Garda Station to the nearby courthouse in a garda van, after a number of people congregated on the 100-metre route between both buildings.
He sat through the brief hearing, as evidence of arrest, charge and caution were detailed by investigating gardaí.
Mr Palani had been questioned by detectives in Sligo since he was detained in the early hours of yesterday morning.
He was remanded in custody to appear by video link before a sitting of the district court on 21 April.

The court heard Mr Palani is unemployed and an application for legal aid was made.
Defence solicitor Gerry McGovern also asked Judge Sandra Murphy that his client be subjected to immediate psychiatric assessment, as a matter of urgency.
Judge Murphy said that out of an "abundance of caution" she would ask that any necessary medical treatment be provided to the accused.
Mr Palani was driven from the court in the same garda vehicle he arrived in.
As the van left the courtyard, a crowd of several hundred jeered and heckled as it passed them en route to Castlerea Prison.
