The winning ticketholder of the €30,928,078 EuroMillions jackpot has made contact with the National Lottery to collect their prize.
Larkin's Gala Service Station in Ballina, Co Tipperary sold the quick-pick ticket on Sunday, 6 February.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery said arrangements are now being made for the winner to claim their winnings.
"We are delighted to confirm that Ireland's latest EuroMillions jackpot winner who scooped the €30.9m jackpot prize on Friday 11 February has contacted our prize claims team," the spokesperson said.
"We are now in the process of making arrangements for the jackpot prize to be paid.
"This is the 9th National Lottery millionaire to be made in Ireland so far this year and once the prize has been paid, we hope to share further details of the lucky winner, once they are happy to do so."
The winning ticket holder has officially become the 17th EuroMillions jackpot winner ever seen in Ireland.
It is the third winning ticket to be sold in Tipperary. In July 2008, a player won the €15m jackpot with a ticket bought in Carrick-on-Suir in Co Tipperary.
In June 2018, 32 colleagues from Stakelums Hardware store in Thurles shared a €17m EuroMillions jackpot with a ticket purchased at Eason's Store in Thurles Shopping Centre.
Earlier this week, Siobhan Larkin, who owns Larkin's Gala Service Station with her husband Michael, said she was "totally overwhelmed" by the news.
"When our visitors from the National Lottery arrived here on Sunday evening, I was totally overwhelmed and in quite a state of shock. I couldn't believe that it was our store that sold the winning ticket," she said.
"The vast majority of our customers are locals so we hope that the winner might be a local too and wish them all the very best with their huge win.
"This win is going to be absolutely huge for the community. It's become a bit of a running joke now as to where the winning ticket was actually sold because of our unique border location – was it Clare, Limerick or Tipperary? As proud Tipperary people, we'll be claiming the win for Tipp!" she added.
