A man in his 60s has died following a road traffic collision in Co Wicklow.
The man was carrying out works on the R752 at Milltown South in Rathnew when he was seriously injured at around 8.05am yesterday morning.
He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital and died today.
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
The Health and Safety Authority were notified and attended the scene due to the incident being a workplace accident.
The scene was preserved and garda forensic collision investigators carried out an examination.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.
Road users travelling on the R752 at Milltown South between 7.45am and 8.15am who have 'dash cam' footage are asked to make it available to gardaí.
