Gardaí have raided a suspected shebeen in Edenderry, Co Offaly, seizing a significant amount of alcohol.
Officers searched the premises earlier today following alleged breaches of liquor licensing legislation.
A number of people were drinking alcohol when gardaí arrived.
They will be issued with Fixed Penalty Notices for alleged breaches of public health regulations.
Gardaí said: "A significant amount of alcohol, including six beer kegs, was seized during the operation.
"Enquiries are ongoing and a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions."
Offaly Gardaí found a number of persons on a premises today consuming alcohol.
