A man arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident in Mayo on Wednesday night has been released without charge.
A 45-year-old man died after he was seriously injured in the incident in Castlebar.
He died after he was hit by a vehicle on Humbert Way at around 11.50pm on Wednesday.
The man in his 30s who was arrested was questioned at Castlebar Garda Station before being released.
A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
