A man has been arrested after €250,000 worth of cannabis plants were seized in Co Monaghan.
Gardaí carried out a search of a house in the Carrickmacross area at around 11.30pm last night.
A cultivation unit with over 300 cannabis plants was discovered.
The man, who is in his 30s, is being detained at Carrickmacross Garda Station.
