A woman has died in a two-car crash in north county Dublin.
The crash on the R127 at Blakes Cross in Lusk, Co Dublin involved two cars and occurred shortly after 6pm yesterday.
A 60-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body was removed from the scene and a post-mortem examination has been arranged.
The driver of the second car, a woman in her 50s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road was closed for examination by forensic collision investigators but has since fully reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with camera footage in the area to contact Balbriggan Garda Station or any other station.
