A full moon will be visible in Ireland on Halloween for the first time in over 40 years.
The last time such a phenomenon was seen on 31 October was in 1974.
It is the second full moon this month, which means it is known as a "Blue Moon".
According to Astronomy Ireland, there will not be another full moon on Halloween again for another 20 years - in 2039.
The rare event will be visible from 3pm tomorrow.
