Two people have died in separate road collisions in Dublin and in Co Kerry.
In Dublin, a pedestrian has died following a collision involving a car and a lorry.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which occurred at around 1pm on the Phibsborough road in the north inner city.
The road was closed for a forensic examination but later reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, particularly any motorists who may have dash cam footage, to contact Mountjoy Garda Station on 01 6668600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
In Co Kerry, a 50-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision on the Ring of Kerry N70 between Waterville and Caherdaniel at 3pm.
The man was seriously injured in the collision between his motorbike and car and was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The occupants of the car were uninjured.
