A man has been shot and wounded in the Darndale area of north Dublin tonight.
Gardaí and paramedics arrived at the scene in the Marigold Park area, but the victim had already left in a car.
A short time later, a man presented himself at Beaumont Hospital with gunshot wounds.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Gardaí at Coolock are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
