Two men have been arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of teenager Keane Mulready-Woods in Drogheda, Co Louth.

They are being held at garda stations in Drogheda and Balbriggan under organised crime legislation.

The 17-year-old was killed on 12 January and his body dismembered.

Body parts recovered at two locations in Dublin were later confirmed to be those of the teenager.

His funeral took place in Drogheda a month after his killing.

Gardaí believe his murder is related to the ongoing feud between two Drogheda criminal gangs.

Today's arrests are the first in the investigation which is being led by detectives in Drogheda.
