Met Éireann has issued Status Orange wind warnings ahead of the arrival of Storm Brendan on Monday.
The storm is forecast to make its way across Ireland from 7am on Monday.

Met Éireann issued an Orange weather wind alert for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo until midnight and for counties Wexford, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford until 3pm.

It says winds will reach mean speeds of 65-80km/h, with gusts of 110-130km/h.
It is also warning there is a significant risk of coastal flooding.
Separately, a Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon and Tipperary.

That warning is in place from 7am Monday until midnight.
