The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has confirmed that Birds Eye is recalling a batch of its '50 Chicken Nuggets with Golden Wholegrain' because it may contain small pieces of plastic.
The presence of plastic may make this product unsafe to eat, according to the FSAI.
The batch affected is L9208 Z V124, with a best before date of October 2020.
All of the packets affected are 790g in weight.
Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in affected retail stores that are selling the product.
No other batch codes or Birds Eye products are known to be affected.
