Members of the Extinction Rebellion group have wallpapered the walls and windows of the Department of Communications and Climate Action with posters on their fifth day of the demonstrations in Dublin.

A group of around 150 demonstrators marched from their camp on Merrion Square to the department on Adelaide Road chanting "no to Shannon LNG".

The group is opposed to the Government's decision to back proposals for a Kerry-based Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) import terminal.

Five people have been arrested over the course of the demonstrations in Dublin this week.
