Final preparations are being made for the 13th annual Bloom festival in the Phoenix Park in Dublin.
The five-day festival organised by Bord Bia is a celebration of gardening, horticulture, food, arts and craft.
Judging of the 22 show gardens has been taking place this morning, while the media have also been offered a preview of the event.
This year several show gardens are bringing attention to issues such as sustainability, biodiversity, water conservation and mental health.
The event also features 14 postcard gardens and some 50 floral and botanical art displays.
The Food Village highlights produce from over 100 Irish food producers, while the Bloom Inn is hosting 27 Irish drink producers.
Bloom opens to the public tomorrow and runs until Monday 3 June.
