An Irishman who was reported missing in Australia for almost four months has made contact with his family.
The Irish Australian Support Association of Queensland had appealed on its Facebook page for information on 35-year-old Kevin Fitzpatrick, who had not been seen or heard of since October.
In an update today, the association said Mr Fitzpatrick had made contact with his family and "the strength of community and people working together, and looking out for each other, is still powerful enough to achieve a happy ending".
