A Catholic charity has appealed to people who received unwanted gifts for Christmas to donate them to the homeless.
Staff at St Mary's Pro Cathedral in Dublin are urging people not to store up unwanted Christmas gifts this week, but instead to bring them to the cathedral where staff will collect them for Crosscare.
The gifts are then redistributed to people in Crosscare’s homeless services and family hub throughout the year.
Crosscare is the social care agency of the Archdiocese of Dublin.
Unwanted presents can be brought to the crib in the Pro Cathedral until 2 January 2019.
