Child found safe and well, man arrested after CRI alert

A three-year-old boy has been found safe and well and a man has been arrested following a Child Rescue Ireland alert issued by gardaí this morning.

The boy was reported missing from his home in Bunclody, Co Wexford, at around 1.15am.

Gardaí issued the CRI alert because they believed there was an immediate and serious risk to the health and welfare of the little boy.

He was found safe and well at a house in the Bunclody area at around 7.45am.

One man was arrested and is being held at Enniscorthy Garda Station.

The child rescue alert has been cancelled and gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance.
