The husband of a 60-year-old woman who died last month following a cervical cancer diagnosis says he wants more answers in relation to the CervicalCheck crisis.
Evidence of pre-cancerous cells was missed in four consecutive smear tests that Julie O'Reilly had under the CervicalCheck programme between 2009 and 2013.
Her husband Tony O'Reilly says further investigations are needed into her case and others.
An update in relation to this story has been published here.
Julie O'Reilly, who was originally from the Isle of Man, was first diagnosed with cancer in 2017 while one of her daughters was undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
In June of this year, she discovered she was one of the 221 women caught up in the CervicalCheck crisis.
She died five weeks ago and her family said they wanted to wait until she was at peace before they spoke out about their concerns.
