An incident in which a car crashed through a level-crossing at speed caused disruption to trains out of Dublin.
CCTV footage of the incident at Porterstown level-crossing, later posted to Twitter by Iarnród Éireann, triggered a call to gardaí.

The car can be seen on CCTV crashing through the automatic level-crossing while the barriers were down.
The incident happened at 5.25pm.
There were delays of up to 50 minutes on services to Maynooth, M3 Parkway, and Longford/Sligo, according to Iarnród Éireann.
Services travelled at reduced speed through the damaged crossing and staff were sent to manually stop traffic as trains approached.
Gardaí are investigating the incident.
