Dublin Comic Con spans across the five floors of the convention centre, with a whole floor dedicated to merchandise.

Other activities include tabletop gaming, virtual reality rooms and photobooths.

This year attendees will get the chance to meet some of their favourite stars, including actor Nick Frost, best known for his work in Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End, Canadian actor and filmmaker Lochlyn Munro and Star Trek actor Michael Dorn.

The event continues tomorrow.
