The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland's new campus in Dublin has been named as the winner of the Public Choice category at the RIAI Irish Architecture Awards.
The medical education building on York Street received 22% of the more than 10,000 votes cast in the competition.
It was one of 32 buildings shortlisted for the award.
The ten-storey building includes four basement levels, due to height restrictions in the city centre.

A primary school in Westport, Co Mayo - Scoil Phádraig - came second in the public vote, while Microsoft's campus at Leopardstown in south Dublin finished in third place.
David Browne, President of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland, said the high number of votes for the award shows "how passionate we as a nation are about the environments in which we live, work and relax."
