Over 200,000 people have taken part in the annual 'Darkness into Light' walks and runs throughout the country.
The event, which took place at dawn, is aimed at promoting suicide prevention and tackling the stigma that surrounds mental health.
The 5km event, in support of Pieta House, is now in it's tenth year.
Events took place at over 180 venues around the country.
