The Disclosures Tribunal has confirmed that whistleblower Sergeant Maurice McCabe will give evidence next week.
He is due to be questioned on Monday and Tuesday on all modules of the Tribunal, including the false sexual abuse allegation contained in a Tusla file, as well as his treatment at the O'Higgins Commission.
He will also be asked about the alleged senior Garda smear campaign against him.
Sgt McCabe will only give evidence once during the Tribunal and his questioning will cover matters in all modules.
He will also be cross-examined by lawyers for the gardaí who also represent former Commissioners Martin Callinan and Nóirín O'Sullivan.
