The M7 motorway has reopened this evening after being partially closed following a number of separate collisions between Roscrea and Limerick.
Separate crashes involving several vehicles on both sides of the motorway happened during a heavy hailstorm in the area this afternoon.
One person was airlifted to hospital with a broken leg.
AA Roadwatch said that the M7 has now fully reopened in both directions.
