The death of a man whose body was found on a laneway in Dalkey, Co Dublin, this morning is not being treated as suspicious.
A passer-by found the body of the 35-year-old local man at 8.30am and alerted gardaí.
A forensic team carried out an examination of the scene today before the body was removed.
Gardaí believe the man may have accidentally impaled himself in railings.
A post-mortem examination was carried out on the body this afternoon and gardaí now say that foul play is not suspected.
