All five unions at Iarnród Éireann have voted to accept Labour Court recommendations to settle the wage dispute at the company.

More than 3,800 staff members will receive a 7.5% increase over three years, plus a once-off €500 voucher from the company.

SIPTU members voted 75% in favour of the deal and NBRU members voted 69% in favour.

Majorities of the three smaller unions at the company, UNITE, the TEEU and the TSSA also supported the recommendation.

Iarnród Éireann has welcomed the outcome.
