A planned action by Bord na Móna transport workers tomorrow has been cancelled with both sides agreeing to enter an internal process to resolve issues.
Workers had voted for all-out strike over a threat of outsourcing jobs to a private contractor.
The issue will now be discussed at the company's joint industrial council.
