A man, whose body was found in Carlow town last week, has been identified following an appeal by gardaí.
The man, who was in his late 20s, was found on waste ground at an area known as Cox's Lane in Carlow town last Tuesday evening.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and gardaí say at this stage there was nothing suspicious about his death.
They have classified it as an unexplained sudden death pending the full results of the post mortem-examination and toxicology tests.
Gardaí say they are in the process of contacting the man's family, but believe he is from Eastern Europe.
